BBIX Supports “OCX Compute Fabric” at QTnet’s “QTnet Fukuoka Data Center 3”

Providing regional cloud services with local connectivity in the Kyushu area

BBIX, Inc. (“BBIX”) is pleased to announce that, as the first location in its nationwide rollout of “OCX Compute Fabric” (“OCF”)—a regionally distributed, domestically developed cloud service provided in partnership with IDC Frontier Inc.—it added the “QTnet Fukuoka Data Center 3” (“QD3”), operated by QTnet,Inc., on February 1, 2026.

OCF is a service that leverages “Open Connectivity eXchange” (“OCX”), a cloud-based network service provided by BBIX and its subsidiary BBSakura Networks, Inc. to distribute cloud infrastructure across regional data centers located near local governments and regional businesses. By capitalizing on the proximity of these locations, the service optimizes private line costs and addresses data sovereignty requirements.

As part of the nationwide rollout of OCF, BBIX established an OCF hub at “QD3,” the primary OCF connection point in the Kyushu region. This will enable companies and local governments in and around Kyushu to connect directly to the cloud from a physically nearby location.
