Open Connectivity eXchange from BBIX and BBSakura to Support “Wasabi Hot Cloud Storage”

BBIX, Inc. (“BBIX”), a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. that operates an Internet Exchange (IX) business, and BBSakura Networks, Inc. (“BBSakura”), a network solutions provider and subsidiary of BBIX, will add “Wasabi Hot Cloud Storage,” provided by Wasabi Technologies LLC (“Wasabi Technologies”), as a new destination connection for “XaaS Connection” of Open Connectivity eXchange (“OCX”), a cloud-based network service, on September 16, 2025.

“Wasabi Hot Cloud Storage” is a low-cost, high performance and secure cloud object storage. It has a simple pricing model with no fees for egress or API requests, and provides high performance for uploads and downloads. Furthermore, Amazon S3 compatibility enables integration with a variety of applications. “Wasabi Hot Cloud Storage” supports customer competitiveness by maximizing the value of their data while securing user data.

“XaaS Connection” provides a closed connection from the OCX network to XaaS (X as a Service) applications without going through the Internet. “XaaS Connection” thereby enables customers to use “Wasabi Hot Cloud Storage” in a secure and high-quality communication environment.

BBIX and BBSakura will continue to expand their services to support customers, accelerate DX (Digital Transformation) and grow their businesses in the multi-cloud era.
