Introducing the Latest Services and Use Cases for the Cloud-Based Network Service “OCX”

BBIX, Inc. (“BBIX”) will be exhibiting at “Interop Tokyo 2026,” to be held at Makuhari Messe from Wednesday, June 10 to Friday, June 12, 2026. “Interop Tokyo 2026” is an event where attendees can experience the latest technologies and solutions in the field of Internet technology. This year’s event will be held under the theme “AI & The Internet : The Next Evolution.- Internet for AI, AI for Internet.”

At the BBIX booth, we will be showcasing “OCX” (“Open Connectivity eXchange”), a cloud-based network service that supports high-capacity data communication, cloud connectivity, mobile connectivity, and regionally distributed cloud infrastructure—all of which are becoming increasingly important as the use of AI expands—through live demonstrations.

・Cloud-based network service “ OCX(Open Connectivity eXchange)”

“OCX” is a cloud-based network service that securely and flexibly connects the cloud, data centers, mobile environments, and other networks. At our booth, we will showcase use cases for OCX as a network infrastructure capable of supporting the massive data traffic generated by the growing use of AI model training and inference, as well as the expanding adoption of cloud technologies.

・Internet connectivity service for businesses“OCX Hikari Internet”

“OCX Hikari Internet”is a high-quality Internet connectivity service designed for businesses. In July 2025, BBIX achieved Gold certification—the highest level—in Google Cloud™’s “Verified Peering Provider” ISP certification program. At our booth, we will showcase stable internet connectivity—essential for utilizing AI and cloud services—along with routers and other solutions developed in collaboration with Cisco Systems.

・Regionally Distributed Cloud Service “OCF (OCX Compute Fabric)”

Launched in February 2026, “OCF (OCX Compute Fabric)” is a regionally distributed cloud service provided by BBIX and IDC Frontier, Inc. By leveraging OCX’s nationwide network of connection points and distributing the cloud infrastructure across data centers in each region, users can flexibly utilize the cloud environment. At our booth, we plan to demonstrate the OCF Console and the OCF Account Portal. Visitors can experience the simple UI operations, including creating and launching virtual machines, configuring networks, and checking usage and billing information.

・On-demand mobile connectivity service “OCX Mobile Access”

“OCX Mobile Access” is an on-demand mobile connectivity service that enables secure connections from mobile networks to the OCX network. With multi-carrier support that allows flexible switching between multiple carriers using a single SIM card, it enables secure, private connections between IoT devices and data communication terminals and the cloud or local offices. At our booth, you can experience firsthand how intuitively you can configure and manage your communication environment via the portal through a live demonstration. Additionally, “OCX Mobile Access” won the Grand Prize in the Mobile Computing (5G/6G) category at the “Interop Tokyo 2025” Best of Show Awards.

We also plan to introduce collaborative solutions with various partner companies that further expand the scope of OCX applications.
