Tokyo, July 1st, 2021 – BBIX, Inc. (“BBIX”) a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. that conducts an Internet Exchange (IX) business, today announced the immediate availability of IBM’s “IBM Cloud,” as an addition to its “BBIX Multi-Cloud” service product lineup.
The company now delivers to its customers more options in private access to major public clouds via its L2 IX network fabric, enabling customers to further meet their business demands.
Through enhancing service coverage and providing highly secure private connections to cloud infrastructures, BBIX is working to continuously assist customers so they can optimize and ensure consistent business performance.
Overview of “BBIX Multi-Cloud”:
BBIX Multi-Cloud Service is an optional service of IX, which enables direct connectivity with public cloud services over the same IX port the customer peers with other IX customers. Customers can access private connections with multiple clouds through dedicated VLAN over BBIX’s L2 network.
