\r\nBBIX to Launch Smart IX Service at \u201cBBIX LA No. 2\u201d within Equinix LA1<\/h4>\r\n

BBIX, Inc. (\u201cBBIX\u201d) will launch a new IX point, \u201cBBIX LA No. 2,\u201d at Equinix LA1 data centre and provide its Smart IX service* starting from September 8, 2026. In addition, BBIX will change the name of \u201cBBIX LA,\u201d which was opened at Coresite LA1 in January 2020, to \u201cBBIX LA No. 1 Center.\u201d<\/p>\r\n

In recent years, with the expansion of AI (artificial intelligence), cloud services, video streaming, and online gaming, there has been a growing demand for the distribution of connection points that maintain redundancy while maintaining low-latency, high-bandwidth interconnection environments.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

In light of these circumstances, in addition to \u201cBBIX LA No. 1,\u201d BBIX has opened \u201cBBIX LA No. 2\u201d at Equinix LA1 data centre, which has one of the largest number of operators in the region, as its second connection hub in the Los Angeles area. This will expand the interconnection environment and provide optimal connectivity as a distributed hub within the area.<\/p>\r\n
