BBIX Partners with Yamanashi CATV to Provide \u201cOCX (Open Connectivity eXchange)\u201d Cloud-based Network Service\r\n<\/h4>\r\n

BBIX to add OCX connection point at \u201cYamanashi CATV Yamanashi City Center\u201d\r\n<\/p>\r\n

BBIX, Inc. (\u201cBBIX\u201d), a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. that operates an Internet Exchange (IX) business, has entered into a business partnership agreement with Yamanashi CATV Co., Ltd. (\u201cYamanashi CATV\u201d) to provide \u201cOCX (Open Connectivity eXchange),\u201d a cloud-based network service. With this partnership agreement, BBIX will add an OCX connection point at \u201cYamanashi CATV Yamanashi City Center (Yamanashi City)\u201d on July 1, 2026. <\/p>\r\n
\r\n

OCX is a cloud-based network service provided by BBIX and BBSakura Networks, Inc. (\u201cBBSakura\u201d), a network solutions provider and subsidiary of BBIX. OCX provides on-demand, highly secure, low-latency, scalable connectivity services to cloud services and data centers used by customers. <\/p>\r\n
\r\n

Yamanashi CATV is a community-based cable television provider serving the entire Yamanashi City area with television broadcasting, Internet, and telephone services. As a crucial infrastructure provider supporting daily life and business activities in the region, the company is dedicated to contributing to customer lifestyle enrichment and convenience.\r\n<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

By leveraging OCX in its backbone through this new connection point, Yamanashi CATV aims to further advance its communications infrastructure and enhance service stability. Furthermore, as regional demand grows for cloud service utilization, enhanced security, stable network environments, and BCP (Business Continuity Plan) measures, this initiative will also serve as fundamental groundwork for future service expansions.\r\n<\/p>\r\n
