BBIX Launches Global Expansion of Open Connectivity eXchange<\/h4>\r\n

Launches cloud connection hub in Singapore and OCX connection point in Thailand<\/p>\r\n

BBIX, Inc. (\u201cBBIX\u201d), a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. that operates an Internet Exchange (IX) business, announced the global expansion of its cloud-based network service, \u201cOpen Connectivity eXchange\u201d (\u201cOCX\u201d), jointly provided with BBSakura Networks, Inc. (\u201cBBSakura\u201d), a network solutions provider and subsidiary of BBIX, in Singapore and Thailand. Service will commence on October 3, 2025<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

OCX is a Network as a Service (NaaS) platform that provides on-demand, highly secure, low-latency, and scalable connections to various cloud services and data centers. Through a dedicated customer portal, OCX eliminates the need for customers to purchase and maintain their own network equipment, enabling them to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

In Singapore, BBIX will establish a major cloud connection hub, providing customers in the Asia-Pacific region with efficient and secure access points to the world\u2019s leading cloud providers, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

In Thailand, BBIX will establish an OCX connection point in collaboration with True Internet Data Center Co., Ltd. (\u201cTrue IDC\u201d). The service, offered through the joint venture BBIX (Thailand) Company Limited, will combine True IDC\u2019s reliable, high-security data centers with OCX\u2019s software-based approach to provide a fast and flexible network environment for customers.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

The OCX platform will link Singapore’s global cloud connectivity with Thailand’s local data center connectivity, enabling customers to build and operate a hybrid IT infrastructure. This infrastructure will combine their own robust physical facilities with high-performance major clouds such as OCI and AWS for AI development and foundational systems, all available on-demand from a single interface.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n
