Open Connectivity eXchange from BBIX and BBSakura to Support \u201cCisco Umbrella\u201d<\/h4>\r\n

Companies enable the use of \u201cCisco Umbrella\u201d with greater security and higher quality<\/p>\r\n

BBIX, Inc. (\u201cBBIX\u201d), a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. that operates an Internet Exchange (IX) business, and BBSakura Networks, Inc. (\u201cBBSakura\u201d), a network solutions provider and subsidiary of BBIX, will add \u201cCisco Umbrella,\u201d provided by Cisco Systems G.K. (\u201cCisco\u201d), as a new destination connection for \u201cXaaS Connection\u201d of Open Connectivity eXchange (\u201cOCX\u201d), a cloud-based network service, on August 26, 2025.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

\u201cCisco Umbrella\u201d is a cloud security service that provides secure Internet access from anywhere. By leveraging Cisco Umbrella\u2019s SIG (Secure Internet Gateway), which enables the inspection of all user web traffic, it offers advanced security measures, such as application-level traffic control and in-depth malware inspection.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

\u201cXaaS Connection\u201d provides a closed connection from the OCX network to XaaS (X as a Service) applications without going through the Internet. \u201cXaaS Connection\u201d thereby enables customers to use \u201cCisco Umbrella\u201d in a secure and high-quality communication environment.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

BBIX and BBSakura will continue to expand their services to support customers, accelerate DX (Digital Transformation) and grow their businesses in the multi-cloud era.<\/p>\r\n
