BBIX to Add \u201cNEC Inzai Data Center\u201d as a Cloud Connectivity Point for Open Connectivity eXchange<\/h4>\r\n

BBIX, Inc. (\u201cBBIX\u201d), a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. that operates an Internet Exchange (IX) business, and BBSakura Networks, Inc. (\u201cBBSakura\u201d), a network solutions provider and subsidiary of BBIX, will add the \u201cNEC Inzai Data Center\u201d (Inzai City, Chiba Prefecture), operated by NEC Corporation (\u201cNEC\u201d), as a \u201cCloud Connection\u201d point for \u201cOpen Connectivity eXchange\u201d (\u201cOCX”), a cloud-based network service, on April 25, 2025.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

\u201cCloud Connection\u201d is a virtual interface for connecting to cloud services via OCX. With the addition of the \u201cNEC Inzai Data Center,\u201d OCX customers will be able to select the most optimal connection point from a larger number of cloud connection points. In addition, with the increasing demand for public cloud utilization in the future, the addition of this new connection point will provide a stable, high-security, low-latency network environment.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

BBIX and NEC have concluded a collaboration agreement in the area of data center connectivity and provide OCX at three data centers, including the \u201cNEC Inzai Data Center,\u201d which will be added as a cloud connectivity base. NEC will continue to contribute to the acceleration of customers’ DX (Digital Transformation) and the creation of new businesses by combining BBIX’s network solutions with NEC’s data center services.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

BBIX and BBSakura will continue to provide more convenient services and functions to build a network cloud infrastructure to help customers accelerate DX and grow their businesses in the multi-cloud era.<\/p>\r\n
