BBIX and OEC Sign Business Partnership for Open Connectivity eXchange<\/h4>\r\n

BBIX to add OCX connection point to \u201cOita Data Center\u201d<\/p>\r\n

BBIX, Inc. (\u201cBBIX\u201d), a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. that operates an Internet Exchange (\u201cIX\u201d) business, has entered into a business partnership agreement with OEC Co., Ltd. (\u201cOEC\u201d) to provide Open Connectivity eXchange (\u201cOCX\u201d), a cloud-based network service. With this partnership agreement, BBIX will add an OCX connection point at \u201cOita Data Center\u201d (Oita City, Oita Prefecture) on November 1, 2024.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

OCX is a cloud-based network service provided by BBIX and BBSakura Networks, Inc. (\u201cBBSakura\u201d), a network solutions provider and subsidiary of BBIX. OCX offers on-demand, highly secure, low-latency, scalable connectivity services to a variety of cloud services and data centers used by customers.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

OEC is an Oita-based IT company founded in 1966 as \u201cOita Electronic Computing Center\u201d and changed its name to the current \u201cOEC Co., Ltd.\u201d in 1990. OEC provides a wide range of IT solutions, including software development, system integration, network construction, and cloud services. In recent years, OEC has also focused on research and development in cutting-edge fields such as AI (Artificial Intelligence), IoT (Internet of Things), and drones by combining OEC\u2019s expertise and technological capabilities cultivated through software development.
