BBIX and Cable media waiwai Sign Business Partnership for Open Connectivity eXchange<\/h4>\r\n

BBIX to expand OCX connection point to \u201cCable media waiwai Nobeoka Data Center\u201d<\/p>\r\n

BBIX, Inc. (\u201cBBIX\u201d), a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. that operates an Internet Exchange (\u201cIX\u201d) business, has entered into a business partnership agreement with Cable media waiwai Co,ltd. (\u201cCable media waiwai\u201d) to provide Open Connectivity eXchange (\u201cOCX\u201d), a cloud-based network service. With this partnership agreement, BBIX will add an OCX connection point at Cable media waiwai\u2019s \u201cCable media waiwai Nobeoka Data Center\u201d on May 1, 2024.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

OCX is a cloud-based network service provided by BBIX and BBSakura Networks, Inc. (\u201cBBSakura\u201d), a network solutions provider and subsidiary of BBIX. OCX offers on-demand, highly secure, low-latency, scalable connectivity services to a variety of cloud services and data centers used by customers.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

Based in Japan\u2019s Miyazaki Prefecture, Cable media waiwai provides community-based services that make daily lives convenient, enriching, and enjoyable, based on cable TV broadcasting, the Internet, and telephony (fixed-line phones and smartphones), under the corporate philosophy of \u201cproviding a succession of new services that help improve the lives of local residents.\u201d In addition, Cable media waiwai actively invests in the evolution of technology, and provides future-oriented support to help its customers achieve sustainable business growth.<\/p>\r\n
