BBIX and BBSakura Launch \u201cOCX Hikari Private\u201d<\/h4>\r\n

Internet access service connecting OCX network and fiber optic network<\/p>\r\n

BBIX, Inc. (\u201cBBIX\u201d), a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. that operates an Internet Exchange (IX) business, and BBSakura Networks, Inc. (\u201cBBSakura\u201d), a network solutions provider and subsidiary of BBIX, will launch \u201cOCX Hikari Private\u201d, an Internet access service for the Open Connectivity eXchange (“OCX”) cloud-based network service, on March 5, 2024.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

\u201cOCX Hikari Private\u201d is an Internet access service that uses fiber optic network of the Hikari Collaboration scheme provided by Nippon Telegraph and Telephone East Corporation (\u201cNTT East\u201d) and Nippon Telegraph and Telephone West Corporation (\u201cNTT West\u201d). <\/p>\r\n
\r\n

With the diversification of work styles, there is a growing need for a secure connection between a company’s headquarters and other locations, as well as the homes of telecommuting employees, in a cloud environment. \u201cOCX Hikari Private\u201d enables customers to make a closed connection from the FLET\u2019S networks of NTT East and NTT West to OCX network, and use cloud services in a highly secure and low cost closed network environment.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

BBIX and BBSakura will continue to improve OCX services to meet the diversifying cloud connectivity needs of customers.<\/p>\r\n
