BBIX and ZTV Sign Business Partnership with Open Connectivity eXchange<\/h4>\r\n

BBIX to expand OCX connection point to \u201cZTV Tsu\u201d<\/p>\r\n

BBIX, Inc. (\u201cBBIX\u201d), a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. that operates an Internet Exchange (\u201cIX\u201d) business, has entered into a business partnership agreement with ZTV Co., Ltd. (\u201cZTV\u201d) for Open Connectivity eXchange (\u201cOCX\u201d), a cloud-based network service. With this partnership agreement, BBIX will add an OCX connection point at ZTV\u2019s \u201cZTV Tsu\u201d on January 1, 2024.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

OCX is a cloud-based network service provided by BBIX and BBSakura Networks, Inc. (\u201cBBSakura\u201d), a network solutions provider and subsidiary of BBIX. OCX provides on-demand, highly secure, low-latency, scalable connectivity services to a variety of cloud services and data centers used by customers.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

ZTV provides BtoC services ranging from cable TV to Internet and mobile communication services, as well as BtoB and BtoG telecommunication services for enterprises and local governments in Mie, Shiga, Kyoto and Wakayama prefectures. ZTV has strengthened its local network through advanced efforts using the latest technologies, from wired to wireless. ZTV will continue to provide community-based telecommunication services and further promote the digitalization of the entire Chubu and Kinki region.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

This partnership agreement will enable ZTV to establish a secure, high-quality network infrastructure utilizing OCX in its service areas through \u201cZTV Tsu.” BBIX, BBSakura and ZTV will continue to contribute to local communities through the promotion of DX (Digital Transformation).<\/p>\r\n
