BBIX and Nextware Sign Strategic Partnership Agreement utilizing Open Connectivity eXchange<\/h4>\r\n

BBIX, Inc. (\u201cBBIX\u201d), a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. that operates an Internet Exchange (\u201cIX\u201d) business, and Nextware Ltd. (\u201cNextware\u201d) announced they entered into a strategic partnership agreement to utilize the Open Connectivity eXchange (\u201cOCX\u201d), a cloud-based network service. <\/p>\r\n
\r\n

OCX is a cloud-based network service provided by BBIX and BBSakura Networks, Inc. (\u201cBBSakura\u201d), a network solutions provider and subsidiary of BBIX. OCX provides on-demand, highly secure, low-latency, scalable connectivity services to a variety of cloud services and data centers used by customers.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

Nextware has a strong presence mainly in the Kansai area and has achieved business growth for a variety of companies by using its own IT solutions, such as a consolidated management solutions for recording attendance and monitoring temperatures at construction sites using the facial recognition software \u201cSAFR\u00ae\u201d, and a shoplifting prevention solution that helps retailers prevent and minimize damage from theft.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

Through this strategic partnership agreement, BBIX’s nationwide, large-bandwidth network and distributed computer nodes, BBSakura Networks’ integrated API-based control, and Nextware’s diverse IT solutions will be combined and promoted for provision to local businesses that are using OCX to solve social issues they are facing. In combination with this activity, both companies will aim to transform digital social infrastructure from a centralized model to a distributed regional model, and promote network clouds to local governments and enterprises to realize regional DX (Digital Transformation).<\/p>\r\n
