BBIX, Inc. (\u201cBBIX\u201d), a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. that conducts an Internet Exchange (IX) business, will launch a new IX point, \u201cBBIX Singapore No. 4\u201d at ST Telemedia Global Data Centres\u2019 (\u201cSTT GDC\u201d) STT Singapore 5 data centre (\u201cSTT Singapore 5\u201d), and provide its \u201cSmart IX\u201d service* starting from October 2023.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

BBIX has 3 existing IX points in Singapore. BBIX will expand its 4th IX point at STT Singapore 5, which is located in an area where major network data centres in Southeast Asia are concentrated. <\/p>\r\n
\r\n

At the new \u201cBBIX Singapore No. 4,\u201d users will be able to connect and exchange traffic with other users by using \u201cSmart IX\u201d service as well as users at other BBIX operated global IX points.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

Through the launch of \u201cBBIX Singapore No. 4,\u201d BBIX will continue to provide premium interconnectivity quality with greater cost savings for customers.<\/p>\r\n
