BBIX Launches 6 New IX Points in the Philippines<\/h4>\r\n

BBIX Philippines, Inc. (\u201cBBIX Philippines\u201d), a joint venture between BBIX, Inc. (\u201cBBIX\u201d), a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. that operates an Internet Exchange (IX) business and InfiniVAN, Inc. (\u201cInfiniVAN\u201d) will open 6 new IX (Internet Exchange) points in the Philippines, and will provide IX services from October 1st, 2023.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

In the Philippines, broadband communication is spreading rapidly due to the expansion of the e-commerce market. Furthermore, with the additional landing of submarine cables at the end of 2023, the Philippines is expected to become the digital hub where Internet traffic of Southeast Asian hyperscalers will gather.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

By opening IX points in 6 different data centers, Philippines and Southeast Asian content service providers and Internet service providers will be able to have easier access to BBIX Philippine\u2019s career neutral, affordable, and low-latency IX services.<\/p>\r\n
