BBIX and HISS Sign Business Partnership Agreement in Data Center Connectivity Field<\/h4>\r\n

\uff5eHISS\u2019s \u201cHISS FIT-iDC\u201d to be BBIX\u2019s first Open Connectivity eXchange (\u201cOCX\u201d) connection point in Hokuriku area\uff5e<\/p>\r\n

BBIX, Inc. (\u201cBBIX\u201d), a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. that operates an Internet Exchange (\u201cIX\u201d) business, has entered into a business partnership agreement with Hokuden Information System Service Company,Inc. (\u201cHISS\u201d) in the field of data center connectivity, and on August 1, 2023, BBIX will add HISS\u2019s FIT-iDC (Toyama) as its first Open Connectivity eXchange (\u201cOCX\u201d) connection point.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

OCX is a cloud-based network service provided by BBIX and BBSakura Networks, Inc. (\u201cBBSakura\u201d), a network solutions provider and subsidiary of BBIX. OCX provides on-demand, highly secure, low-latency, scalable connectivity services to a variety of cloud services and data centers used by customers.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

Since its establishment, HISS has been taking on challenges in business innovation, facility construction, and operation for many customers, including Hokuriku Electric Power Company Group, as a comprehensive information service provider. The FIT-iDC, where BBIX will open an OCX connection point, is located in Toyama Prefecture, which has few earthquakes and is close to metropolitan areas, as well as a low disaster risk profile in terms of facilities and location.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n

By combining BBIX and BBSakura’s secure and high-quality OCX with HISS\u2019s diverse telecommunication services, which has over 30 years of experience and reliability, BBIX will contribute to customers by creating new businesses and improving management efficiencies.<\/p>\r\n
