BBIX, Inc. (\u201cBBIX\u201d), a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. that conducts an Internet eXchange (IX) business, will open \u201cBBIX Osaka No. 7\u201d at \u201cOSA1,\u201d operated by Digital Edge (Japan) G.K. (\u201cDigital Edge\u201d) in Osaka, to provide \u201cIX Connect Service\u201d from March 2023.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\r\n

BBIX operates six IX connection points in the Osaka metropolitan area. In light of the growing demand for Internet interconnection in the Kansai area, BBIX selected Digital Edge\u2019s \u201cOSA1\u201d data center to launch \u201cBBIX Osaka No. 7.\u201d The \u201cOSA1\u201d data center is carrier-neutral, scalable, and is located in Osaka Business Park, which is close to the core network center of western Japan.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\r\n

By providing IX services at \u201cBBIX Osaka No. 7,\u201d BBIX will contribute to realizing efficient Internet connectivity and high-quality communications, and revitalize Internet traffic exchange in the Kansai area.<\/p>\r\n
