BBIX, Inc. (“BBIX”), a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. that operates an Internet Exchange (IX) business, has signed a business partnership agreement with NEC Corporation (“NEC”) in the field of data center connectivity, and BBIX will add NEC’s Inzai Data Center and Kanagawa Data Center to its Open Connectivity eXchange (“OCX”) connection points.<\/p>\r\n

BBIX currently provides OCX, a service that enables on-demand connectivity for a variety of cloud services and data centers via a dedicated customer portal. By adding NEC’s Inzai Data Center and Kanagawa Data Center to OCX connection points, customers will be able to connect to OCX from NEC’s data centers, and easily enjoy a secure, high-quality, closed network environment.<\/p>\r\n

BBIX, together with NEC, will continue to expand its services to help customers accelerate their DX (Digital Transformation) and business growth.<\/p>\r\n
