BBIX, Inc. (\u201cBBIX\u201d), a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. that conducts an Internet Exchange (IX) business, today announced the launch of a new IX point in Silicon Valley (USA), \u201cBBIX San Jose,\u201d that will start operations and provide \u201cSmart IX\u201d from December 2021.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\r\n

Compared to other cities in California\u2019s Silicon Valley, San Jose has numerous large-scale data centers with rich interconnectivity, where many content service providers and IT companies come to connect and exchange traffic. By using \u201cSmart IX\u201d at \u201cBBIX San Jose,\u201d users can connect and exchange traffic with over 300 other BBIX users connected to \u201cBBIX San Jose\u201d as well as other BBIX-operated IX points.*<\/small><\/p>\r\n

By operating \u201cBBIX San Jose\u201d as a hub to connect the West Coast of the USA and Japan, BBIX will strive to provide a stable connectivity environment to customers globally.<\/p>\r\n
