Tokyo, July 3rd, 2020 \u2013 BBIX, Inc. (“BBIX”) a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. that conducts an Internet Exchange (IX) business, today announced that from July 2020, the company is offering “BBIX Multi-Cloud,” a service that enables direct connectivity to multiple major public clouds from its L2 network fabric.<\/p>\r\n

BBIX is initially delivering to its customers the opportunity to connect with three different cloud services at its connection points across Tokyo: “BBIX Multi-Cloud for Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute,” powered by Microsoft, “BBIX Multi-Cloud for Alibaba Cloud” powered by Alibaba Cloud Japan and its distributor, SB Cloud Corp., and “BBIX Multi-Cloud for SAKURA Cloud” powered by SAKURA internet Inc. The cloud services will support enterprise customers looking to build a secure, low latency, and scalable interconnections to public clouds while bypassing the public Internet. BBIX plans to add more cloud services to its lineup in the latter half of 2020.<\/p>\r\n
