INFORMATION NOTICE for customers in EEA<\/p>\r\n

\u2013 BGP Meeting<\/p>\r\n

This information notice is issued to data subjects in the European Economic Area (EEA) by BBIX, Inc. located at 1-9-10, Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo 106-0032, Japan (\u201cBBIX\u201d), which controls and processes your personal data in the way described below.<\/p>\r\n

We will process your personal data collected in relation to BGP Meeting in the following manner in accordance with the applicable EU and EU Member States\u2019 regulations on data protection, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation 2016\/679 (the \u201cGDPR\u201d).<\/p>\r\n

1.Categories of personal data processed, purposes to process your personal data and its legal grounds<\/h3>\r\n

The legal grounds to process your personal data are (1) legitimate interests and (2) consent.<\/p>\r\n

We will not conduct any solely data-based, automated decision-making that produces any legal or similar material effect on you.\r\n<\/p>\r\n

As for the personal data marked \u201crequired\u201d on the entry form to the BGP Meeting, provision of such personal data is a requirement necessary to participate in BGP Meeting (entering into a contract for participation in BGP Meeting with us), and you will not be able to participate in BGP Meeting if you fail to provide such personal data. Provision of your personal data is not the statutory requirement.\r\n<\/p>\r\n

(2) Purpose and Categories of personal data processed\r\n<\/br>(i) For managing application for BGP Meeting\r\n<\/br>(ii) For operation and management of seminars\r\n<\/br>\u3000 Name\r\n<\/br>\u3000 AS number\r\n<\/br>\u3000 Company Name\r\n<\/br>\u3000 Department\r\n<\/br>\u3000 Position\r\n<\/br>\u3000 E-mail address (Office)\r\n<\/br>\u3000 Status of participation in the BGP Meeting\r\n<\/br>\u3000 Details of contact about BGP Meeting\r\n<\/br>(iii) For sending e-mails to you by BBIX with regards to our events\r\n<\/br>\u3000 Name\r\n<\/br>\u3000 Company Name\r\n<\/br>\u3000 Department\r\n<\/br>\u3000 Position\r\n<\/br>\u3000 E-mail address (Office)\r\n
\r\n<\/br>You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by sending a request by e-mail. However, your withdrawal of consent will not affect the legality of processing conducted based on your consent before its withdrawal.\r\n<\/p>\r\n

2.How long do we keep your personal data?<\/h3>\r\n

We will only retain your personal data as long as there is a statutory or legal requirement to do so or in order that we are able to meet the above mentioned purposes. This will usually require us to retain your personal data for a set period of time after any relationship has ended for accounts and records purposes, and we will retain your personal data for at least 1 year.<\/p>\r\n

When your personal data is transferred outside EEA, we will implement Standard Contract Clauses (according to the GDPR requirements) to ensure a fair and legal use of your data (Article 46.2(c) and 46.5 GDPR).<\/p>\r\n
